RAID Array Drivers OEM
by: Support

Hello Saqib.

Your sever IBM x3650 is fairly old. Do you have the IBM Installation and Diagnostics disks?

What I see happening is that the RAID Array drivers either are too old or did not install when you loaded the Server OS.

You can make a RAID Array Driver Disk either from the IBM Install CD or download the drivers from IBM's web site. (it is easy enough to do, the readme.txt gives the instructions).

Once you have the drivers make a floppy, if the server doesn't have a floppy drive then use a usb pen drive.

When you start the computer with the install CD on the second screen at the bottom you will see a message to press F6 to install additional drivers. You have to be fast the option is only avaiable for the first seven seconds the screen is active.

Press F6 and then the install program will prompt you for the addtional drivers.

This should cure your boot problem.

Hope this helps...
