Heat
by: Support

Your tech may be correct.

Heat generated by devices will cause a computer to restart if the heat isn't disapatied correctly.

When you say the side of the case is hot, it that the place where the motherboard is mounted?

Has your tech opened the case and investigated where the origain of the heat is?

Heat could be coming from:
the Processor
the Video card
the Hard Drive
the Memory
the Support chips on the motherboard.

Find the source of the heat and see if there is a solution to remove the heat and exhast it from the computers.

One fix maybe a bigger heatsink on the processor or the video card.

Another fix maybe another fan to draw in fresh air and help move it accross the component that is heating up.

Have a look at this page to get some ideas on what to look for and how to increase the air flow inside the computer case.

I would suggest you do one computer and it that stops the rebooting all the time then do the others, if it doesn't help then you may have to replace all your motherboards, that may mean a reload of the computer Operating System.
