Power Supply
by: Support

The power supply inside the case of the laptop, normally located in the case under the buttons on the bottom half of the laptop.

A question:

Why did you buy a new power adapter?

When the old adapter was connected did you get a battery charge light? Did it power up then?

Try this -

Take the battery out of the laptop, first try the old adapter, does the computer power up?

If not try the new one, did it power up?

If not then the power supply in the computer has failed.

I don't think the motherboard has failed.

There is only one other possiblity and that the power on button has failed.

Hope this helps...
