VMC Dongal error message

VMC Dongal error message

I use Vodafone Mobile Connect on every pc I can friends and familys to try to find out everything I can about it. Its plug and play like most pc stuff. somtimes I get this error message..... PROGRAM ERROR The type initializer for 'VMC Base sevices.Registry Accessor'Threw an exception.System.Null reference exception:Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at VMC base services. Registry Accessor. InitRegestry Accessor()at VMC. Base services.Registry Access..cctor() I cant even imagine what this means. It would be nice to understand it and fix it. So I would appreciate any help I can get with this.

Hello Ricky,

Normally when the error has 'registry' in the code it may point to the driver.

Try this:

If this is a usb device try another port, this will cause the Device Manager to reload the driver(s) and rewrite the registry entry.

If moving the device does not fix the problem try the manufacture/publisher web site for updated drivers.

The device may have failed, is it under waranty...

Hello,
I think your problem appears because you don`t have a local administrator rights on your computer. If it is your computer check that do you have an administrative rights. (go to control panel\ user accounts and check your rights). If it is a company computer ask the system administrator, to deploy the USB dongle on your computer with his rights....

Sometimes it is hard to see the forest for the trees.
Yes not having adminstrative rights will stop some drivers from loading.
