Upgraded Computer, OS can't find the new drivers.
by: Support

Hello Alex,

The reason your Operating System - XP - will not run is that the drivers for the new motherboard are not available. XP is looking for the drivers and can't find them on the cd you are putting in the drive.

You can try to use the CD that came with the motherboard to load the required drivers but it may not work because the drivers may be compressed.

When I upgraded my main computer with a new ASUS motherboard the drivers had to be installed by the ASUS install program.

I think you will have to reinstall the XP operating system, I had to.

Hope this helps...
