Jul 18, 2009 Rating No display on monitor by: Support Hello Von, Not enough inforamtion - You can try - Disconnect power to both computer and monitor while doing these steps! Disconnect the video cable from the computer, then reconnect it. Power up the computer. Do you have a display? Yes done. No then you need to find out if the computer video is embedded or a card. If it is a card then remove the card from the computer and put it back in the same slot. Power up the computer, do you have a display? No then the video card has failed, try a differnt video card. Yes done. If it is an embedded video the try a Video card. If you get a display then the embedded video has failed. You can leave the video card in the computer and use that or you can replace the mother board. If none of the above sloutions fix the video then take the monitor to a known good computer and test it, if it is good then the motherboard in the effected computer has failed. If the monitor did not work on the other computer relpace the monitor. Hope this helps...
