i have 25 watt soldering iron, with large tip, is it ok to solder ic leg, especially the small one, thank you

Hello Iqram,

If you are just touching up, that is the leg of an IC is not completely joined with solder (called a cold solder joint) then you could touch the leg until the solder flows.

With a larger tip you have to becareful that the heat doesn't flow on to other parts and cause damage.

A small tip would be better for IC's.
