Jul 22, 2009 Rating Memory by: Support Hi Gary, The 40 is proabaly the speed of the memory, 40 nana seconds, going to 45 is slower. If that is what the number represents. Go to kinston.com, they have a chart that will tell you what the computer came with and what the maximum amount of memory and speed of the memory would be. Kinston has discontinued RamBus memory but may have some left a couple of months ago the were having a sale on RamBus memory. Hope this helps...
