Program not working

I have a KJ (Karaoke Songbook) on my new computer that was working fine until I shut the unit down to reroute my wires. Now when I use this program I get a message that says "The SendKeys Action requires the KJ Pro utility Add-In to be loaded" then it says to reinstall microsoft office (which I do not have). I Tried reinstalling my KJ Pro program and I still have this problem. Can you tell me what this is and is there any remedy? Geek squad didn't seem to know what I was talking about.

Hello Bob,

I am not familure with your program. So...

Some thoughts -

Is the microphone a usb device?

You say you 'rerouted some cables' when you did this did you disconnect them from the computer?

When you reconnected the cables did you put them back in the same ports?

USB drivers when installed look for the deivce on a certain port when the computer is started and the driver intializes.

If you changed the port when you connected the cables to the computer then the drivers maybe getting confused.

When you started the computer the first time after rerouting the cables did you get the 'New Hardware Wizard' on start up?

If non of the above are true then you will have to contact the Software Publisher for help with the problem.
