Computer will not start
by: Support

Hello Eliesa.

Your fan stopped working so you replaced it, when you took the heat sink (the finned piece of metal on top of the processor) off you cleaned off the grey stuff on the heat sink and on top of the processor? Correct?

Then you put the fan on the heat sink and the heat sink on the processor, did you put any heat sink grease back on the heat sink and processor?

If not then the processor may be dead, it may have burnt up.

Do you get any beeps from the computer when you power it up?

If the computer beeps you can find what the beeps mean from the manufactures web site.

Hope this helps...
