Presario v6000 drivers

Hello Sir,

I have a hp compaq presario v6000 labtop.

I don"t have the drivers for the network and don"t have the sound driver.

My question is when I do find them how do I
load them.

What is the path.

Hello Leon,

On this web site and in the Self Computer Repair e-book the instructions for installing drivers is half way down the page "Installing New Hardware" in the How To... section.

Installing new hardware, a how to...

In the e-book it is page 129.

If you have the drivers does the driver package have an install program? Or does the package extract the files to a folder on your hard drive?

Some manufactures include a setup program others you have to use the Device Manager and pick the driver manually.

If you have already extracted the files from the package normally it will be on the C: drive in a folder called Drivers or the name of the manufacture in your case HP then Drivers.
