Sep 15, 2010 Rating PC Doesn't Boot by: Anonymous It would help to know what operating system your using. Do you hear it post (there should be some type of sound when it reads the bios or your screen should show something about the bios). Do you have it on a surge protector, is it new or old, is the light on the surge protector still lit. With some of the above answers will tell whether you still have a Master Boot Record, if something on your motherboard has been fried or if your hard drive has been wiped. One of the other questions would be have you installed any new hardware in the PC. Thanks for answering the questions above.
