Programable Keyboard
by: Suuport

Hello Peter,

The only time a keypress will activate a program is when it is associated with that program such as the ctrl+alt+del will bring up the Windows menu for log on or the log off + taskmanager + shudown menu.

If you have a programable keyboard that the icons on the buttons accross the top of the keyboard then maybe your keyboard is failing.

The only other thing I can think of is you have a virus, although I haven't heard of a virus that has the faciltiy to program key strokes it is possible, Windows has a small utility for the disabled it is for sticky keys.

So my first step would see if the key had been enabled by the 'Regional and Languages' in the control panel, then under 'Languages' go to the 'Text services and input languages' click on the 'Details' button.

Check to see if the key had been assingned as a sticky key.

If not, and the key board is not programable, then I would run all the anti-viurs, anti-spyware, anti-trojan programs in the safe mode.

Normally key logger programs are passive and don't program keys.

Hope this helps...
