Sound Card Drivers
by: Support

Hello Grady,

Unless the drivers were in a folder outside of the Windows folder then there is a possiblity that you did delete drivers.

Did you get any errors when you started the computer?

Normally you should uninstall programs not delete the folders, when you don't uninstall a program it leaves a lot of entries in the registry that will over time cause problems with the way the Operating System (OS) works.

If you want to troubleshoot your sound problem start here -

Troubleshooting Installed Devices

How ever you may have to reinstall the programs or worse yet the Operating System. If you have to reinstall the OS be sure to back up your data first!

Data Backup

Hope this helps...
