my pc dont open

when i turn the power, it wont open instead a message is flashed on the screen that reads, "reading disk error". what's then the problem and what will i do?

Hard Drive problems

Hello Noli,

"reading disk error" Normally means the hard drive has failed.

How ever it could also mean that one of these are the problem also so start here with you checks -

Power cable plugged in, do you hear the drive spin up when you power up the computer?

Interface cable - is it plugged in the drive and the motherboard? Do you see the drive activity light when the computer powers up?

BIOS Settings - Go in to the BIOS and see if the computer reconizes the hard drive.

If all the above are ture then I would say the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced, see this page for hard drive problmes -
