MOVE OR COPY OS

Is it possible to move or copy an operating system from one hard drive to another without the OS disc?

For example if you upgrade to a larger GB hard drive.

Please Advise?

Hello RICKY,

Yes it is possible, you do have some constraints -

You have to put the image on a hard drive that is in the same computer you made the image of. That is you can't make an image of a laptop and expect it to work on a desktop, the hardware is to different.

You have to make the Operating System partition acive when you finish the task or before you start the job.
