Jun 20, 2009 Rating Modem update by: Support Hello Stanley, Modems can not be upgraded. How ever the firm ware can be updated. You will have to go to the manufacture's web site to get the update and the program that will do the update, follow the manufactures instructions to do the update. If you want a faster modem you will have to replace the one you have. Hope this helps...
