Nov 12, 2009 Rating Cable protecive cover by: Support Hello Lisa, If the protecive cover is just tore and if you press on it the edges match then some plastic electrical tape will hold it in place, no need to buy a new cable unless the video isn't working properly, then you would have a cut wire. Hope this helps...
