Memory failure
by: Support

Hello Alaa,

From the discription of your error you have a memory module that has a failed memory chip.

If you have two modules in your computer, power it down, take out the one in the # 1 slot, put the other one in the # 1 slot. (Because of the error location "0x00000024" I believe that it is in the #1 module)

Power the computer up, did the error go away? If yes then the module you removed was the bad one, if not power the computer down, replace the memory module in # 1 slot, leave the other module out. Power up, did the error go away?

If the error is still there after swapping the memory modules around then the memory controler on the motherboard is failing.

If you only have one module the cheapest route is to buy another module and test the computer with only the new module installed.

Hope this helps...
