DUAL BOOT WIN XP AND 7

I HAVE 2 PARTITIONS : C:\ FOR XP AND D:\ FOR WIN 7 (ACRONIS IMAGE). WITH ACRONIS I USE RESTORE FUNCTION WITH ACTIVE
TO CHOOSE OS TO RUN, COULD YOU SHOW ME HOW TO MAKE A
DUAL BOOT FROM THE START AFTER I BOOT UP.

WIN7 OR XP I CAN INSTALLED ONLY ON ROOT DIRECTORY ONLY.

Hello Nam,

Normally when you install Windows 7 and there is another Operating System (OS) then Windows 7 will reconize that it is a second OS for the computer.

Question -
Did you install Windows 7 then make an image of it? Then install XP on the C: drive and put the Windows 7 image on the D: drive?

If you did this then you can not use the dual boot funcion that came with Windows 7. To get the fuction of dual boot to work properly you have to install your older OS first then Windows 7 second.
