I have a laptop with 6.4g hdd 256mb ram no cdrom/floppy to boot and i want to install windows 2000/xp

Operating System Install

Hello Abdul,

With out a boot cd/dvd drive your only other choice is to use a network to install the Operating System.

But you would need a floppy to boot the computer to connect to the network.

Sorry as far as I know it is not possible to install the Operating System with out a boot device.

There are external cd/dvd's that are bootable with usb, but the computer BIOS has to support bootable usb devices.
