Building A Hardware Proxy Server

I would like to build my own hardware proxy server for business purposes.

Are there any books that describes how to do this. I can recall seeing an article in one of the Linux mags a few years ago but I can't remember the issue!

Hi Raphael,

Not being a fan of Linux and only played with it once in a while I don't have any information for you.

I however have used a Windows Server OS and a program called WinGate for years. As a matter of fact my Server OS and WinGate have out lasted three servers, I setup the first one in 1995 and was on Dial up at the time. WinGate was a beta when I first used it, then a year or so later I bought it, and I have not upgraded from the first version in that time.

Good luck on finding your article. If you change your mind about using Linux have a look at the server section of this web site!
