Audio

by Judy

The audio sound on my computer sounds like the speed is turned way down and is very slow. There is sound but the voices and music is in slow motion. My computer is running just fine except for the audio. Any clue?

Slow Audio
by: Support

Hello Judy,

No, never ran accross this problem before so here is what I would suggest -

Go to the conrol panel, find the Sounds and Audio icon, open it, go to the bottom of the window and open the Advanced for the speakers. on that page set the 'Hardware acceleraton' to full and set the 'Sample rate conversion quality' to high.

If this doesn't reslove your problem the you may need to get new drivers for the hardware from the sound device manufacture. You can find the type of sound device you have in your computer by right clicking on 'My Computer', select 'Manage' from the menu, then open the 'Device Manager' go down to 'Sound, vedio and game controllers'. Look at the list for your sound device, do a search for that name.

Depending on how the manufacture packages the drives you may have to install them with their installer. Or you may be able to use the upgrade drivers menu from the Device Manager and the propterties of the sound device.

Hope this helps...
