The most effective affiliates have a pre sell message to go with the images, this helps to promote the product before your customer gets to the sales page. Getting 100 or so clicks to my sells page are useless if the targeted reader doesn't know what we are promoting. With valuable pre sell content our successful selling the product will increase. Here is an example of a successful pre sell from one of my affiliates, notice how he lays out the information. This pre sell with my sales page has a success rate of 4.6%, which is quite good. If you use the sales page to create your message please to not use the sales page content verbatim, if you do then when your customer reads my sales page they will just click away and we both loose.
Testimonials - The new US of A FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Rules are getting very stringent, if you do not own the product please do not use a testimonial about the product.
