You came to this page from a link on my one of my web sites, this is my story of how I came to use SBI for my web sites.

I work from home now. I have left the business alone for a short periods of time and it continued to generate income. And it makes

to my current income for things that I normally would either not consider or do with out. On with how I stumbled across SBI!

(I went to some of the web sites they listed as customers. I read the testimonials, don't always believe what you read!)

So I inked a deal that cost me $4800 for the next four years. Really stupid if you get my meaning. So here I was a new business owner with another debt I really can't afford and I have to figure out how I am going to pay for it! The business was a online e-commerce site. I had to figure out what I was going to sell, build the site, then find a supplier for my product. GRQ schemes suck.

I am a Certified Technician for a couple of hardware companies and I have some Microsoft Certifications for software. So the ideal web site would be something to do with computers, no? So during my search for a template for my new computer repair site I bought one for a catalog, the funny thing was the little blurb at the bottom of the read me file: Compatible with SBI sites. So I ask myself what is SBI? I do a search and find the SBI site. After reading the intro and looking around I say "hummmph, more hype" (I was already disillusioned by my last decision on a web site!) and moved on.

If you believe the news reports the economy is on a down turn and will be that way for some time, you need to get your second income going NOW!

As I started to build my web site with "the other guys", I kept hitting dead ends, you can't do this or you can't do that ( I do have some experience with Operating Systems and computers after all! ) and the tech support saying "we don't support that function" or "You will have to do that from an off site resource" and the learning curve was very sharp, almost 90° straight up with very little help.

After about a week of this brick wall I thought there had to be a better way (my computer site still had not been launched!). So I went back to SBI and re-read the hype, err, I mean introduction. I was sold. I have a car site (restoring old cars is my hobby, www.classicarparts.com ) with SBI and this site www.diy-computer-repair.com. I created the car site with the SBI tools. I mean I used the step by step process that SBI provides. Very easy to understand instructions, and all the help you could ask for. No more brick walls. (I have modeled one of my ebooks after this site, that is how good I think the SBI! process is).

Get in on the web boom, yes there is plenty of room, and SBI has the best tools for the job, and guess what? No Hype!

Meanwhile three months of work continued on my computer repair site with the "other guys", this site had over ninety pages of content, I had a on line catalog, I had NO customers! By this time my car site was getting 30 hits a day, now that may not seem like very many visitors but this web site was only three months old and only had about twenty pages, I was putting most of my time and effort in to the computer site.

From what I have learned from SBI I started looking at why my computer repair site did not have any traffic, but my car site was starting to move with more visitors every day. I found out that there are numerous reasons but the main one was the hosting company that was supplied by the company I signed up with did not allow the Search engines to search their sites! Imagine that! On-line businesses depend on search engines for the traffic that brings customers to your site and the hosting company doesn't allow a search engine to search your site!!

After thinking it over for a while I decided that SBI would be a better choice for my computer site, I now have two sites at SBI.
