Acronis Disk Director 11; A Great Software Product, Able To Shrink C-Drive!
by Kermit
(El Paso, Texas, U.S.A.)
Monte,
This is a follow up on "Unable to Shrink C-Drive in XP Sp3" I resently purchased Acronis True Image and Disk Director.
To the point after saving the program to the computer I created a CD that has both the license code and the program, installed it on the computer, I wanted to shrink the C-Drive in; 30 seconds later the C-Drive was 60gigs and had 120gigs. of free space.
Was unable to shrink the active partition with my Spotmau, disk thought their's is a great product.
Thinking back it was in "Vista" that I was able to shrink the C-Drive in, using a Windows Program. Guess that there is one good thing about "Vista"!
Would like to pass information on to other readers, has other features that I will not go into.
Well worth the price if you are a home computer repair or builder in short 1 of the new tools in my IT Tool Box.
Thanks,
Kermit
