IF you are a web developer or you support web sites this software would be a fair choice. The program is a combination of two programs that assist the web developer get a new web site up to speed or a web master analyize a web site to find out why the web site is doing poorly in page ranking.

With the Web page optimizer you have the option to compare your site with the 10 top sites that match your keywords. Your report will list web site and compare it with your web site by keyword. Each section of the report will give you recommendations and hints on how to improve your site to increase the page rank standings.

The top 10 inbound link optimizer searches the top 10 web sites for inbound links. It presents a report for the top 10 sites and your site. The report will give recommendations and hints on gaining quality inbound links for your web site.

One of the better features of this program is the Search Engine Submitter. There are two modes for the SE submitter, automatic and simi-automatic. In the automatic mode you fill out the form with the web site url, title, keywords, and description along with the pertinent information for the web site owner/web master. Press start and the program submits your web site to around three hundred search engines.

The simi-automatic SE submitter requires user intervention and is very tedious, sometimes it hangs or doesn't go to the correct page for the submission on the web site.

The Directory Submitter is also very tedious to use, has the same issues as the simi-automatic se submitter.

The Custom Directory Submitter will allow you to submit to a Directory that requires conformation at the time of submission.

One other feature is the Reports. With the reports you can customize your header and footer for your company for submission to your customer.

I am rating this program 6 out of 10. The reason for the rating is that the program has serious issues with connection to the internet. If you ran the program from a computer with at direct internet connection (one of my tests) it has a tendency to hang when a web page is being loaded. From behind a firewall (which is normal for most corporations and anyone who wants to protect their data.) the web functions are either extremely slow or non-existent. Another problem with the program is that it does not deliver the promises the web site professes the program will do. I found that with the top 10 page optimizer that the analysis is very generic, to be useful you have to read between the lines and do some assumptions, if you do not have a lot of experience with building web sites the assumptions can hurt your web site. This program is expensive, to get the advanced features you have to purchase them. I don't think that the automatic SE submitter for 300 search engines is worth the cost of the program.
