DFI Motherboard Review

DFI motherboard INFINITY 975X/G

I have only owned one DFI motherboard, it was for a Intel 286 processor. That was quite some time ago. This motherboard lasted over two years, the reason for replacing it was not a hardware failure but upgrade to a faster processor.

I think this motherboard has a lot of potential for the person who likes the latest and greatest. It has built in upgrade features like the FSB up to 1066, the IEEE1394 ports for future devices. The dual channel DDR2 memory with the speed of up to 800 MHz is a plus. With a embedded LAN capability of 1 Gig and eight usb ports you lack nothing on this board. This board will take a system to the extreme, the only draw back I can see with this board is it only has one processor slot, but with duo core capability that may be passé'.

Support offerings:

Online support for manuals, bois upgrades,  and  device drivers. One year warranty for most DFI products. All returns must go though the reseller where item was purchased.

Because DFI does not do an exchange or repair of your motherboard I would give their support a 7 out of 10.
